Jorge Gallego

Jorger Gallego is Professor in the Department of Business Organization, at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. He was Professor at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. He has acted as visiting scholar at the Science and Technology Policy Research Unit of the University of Sussex. His research interests include, among others, innovation in services, non-technological change, and innovation policy and management. He has been contributor to several research projects and consultancy works, mostly for the IDB, the Commission of the European Communities and different Spanish public institutions.

He has been recently granted a project from the Ramón Areces Foundation to investigate the role of the services sector as an engine for economic growth in developing countries. He is the author of a number of refereed articles, reports and book chapters.
