Research Professor at the Center of International Relations (CIR), Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Ljubljana. She holds part-time job as the adviser at the Institute of Macroeconomic Analysis and Development (think tank of the government of Slovenia). In the period 2008-2012 she was the President of the European Association for REsearch on SERvices (RESER). She has experience in policy analysis and advice and was a member of:  European Policies and Instruments to Support Innovation in Services (EPISIS, 2009-2012);

High Level Economic Policy Expert Group of DG RTD Innovation for Growth (2011- 2014). She has published extensively on development of services in transition economies, R&D and innovation policy design, services innovation policy, internationalisation of services and global value chains in services.
