She is a PhD in Economics, by the University of Alcala. She works in teaching as an Associate Professor in the Department of Economic Analysis: Economic Theory and Economic History, in the Autonomous University of Madrid. She works in researching in the Labor Economics group of the Autonomous University of Madrid, and in the Economic and Social Analysis Institute (IAES) of the University of Alcala. Her job in Alcala is focused on Labor Markets.

She was a visiting researcher at Colchester – Essex University (UK, 2009) and at Bonn in IZA – Institute for the Study of Labor (Germany, 2007).

Her studies have led to many publications, on the national and international field, all related to Labor Economics. In particular, her publications follow the research treads: tertiarization of the economy, women labor segregation, youth labor insertion, and immigration economic impact.
